The REVEAL project formally ended on 31 December 2016. Currently, we are wrapping up our activities. This includes making available the final set of public project deliverables (project reports, including code and all sorts of other information about project work). The first set is now available.
One of the questions in the REVEAL project was how to encourage the user to create content? Especially in enterprise communities. The ARIS Community, the online community of Software AG for all topics related to Business Process Management was used as enterprise use case. To encourage users, a gamification concept was created and evaluated afterwards.
On 7 December 2016, REVEAL was represented at the Monitoring Forum in Munich, Germany, with an information booth. Software AG used the occasion to showcase the enterprise application at this prestigious at social media monitoring and analytics conference. The MediaEval 2016 workshop took place 20-21 October 2016 at the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision in Hilversum, Netherlands, right after ACM Multimedia 2016 in Amsterdam. The REVEAL team were present and won the ‘automated verification of multimedia’ challenge!
On Friday 16 September 2016 the REVEAL project consortium is hosting a one day workshop south of Athens, Greece, in which participants will raise and discuss various aspects of social media verification. This includes showcasing how technology can aid in the process. The event is free of charge, but requires prior registration. Don’t miss out!
